Chris Dodd, an ex-politician makes somewhat hypocritical flip-floppy decision and statements… I didn’t see that coming.

Just do a Nandroid backup through Rom Manager before you flash. Reverting to your stock configuration can’t get any easier.

I have (two of) this exact one. Kicks Ass.
I use one paired with my media PC in the bedroom. I use the other paired with my phone for workouts so my phone can be sitting still on the treadmill and doesn’t have to be getting bounced around in my pockets.
I love the fact that I can make any pair of ear buds wireless.

I have to disagree.
Did you watch the video? At the 10 second mark, they plug in the 3.5mm stereo jack into the car’s aux port, and the device blinks green, indicating its powered up — no external power source required.
If there where a need to have some sort of additional cable running to the thing, it would completely circumvent all the “convenience” of using wireless tech in the first place.
If this thing costs more than $50 and turns out not to have a battery inside, I’ll eat one.

It would be interesting to see (if / how quickly) the guy who spearheaded this idea would take a job with Google’s mapping department if they offered.
From 99% to 1% in 3 seconds flat.
