I encounter the opposite, because it seems everyone has either an iphone, ipod or ipad, so they always have one of the cables on them. Since the new adapter came out there is slight fragmentation, but since everything that came out in the past year has the new adapter, a lot of people have one of those too. I have all kinds of micro/mini usb cords, but I never carry them around with me.
