That explains the discoloration on my GS2 where the status bar should be. It burned pretty quickly, so quick in fact that I always thought of it as an Android issue.
I think my next phone will be AMOLED free if they don’t fix the issues

So, Samsung failed at making us, Galaxy S2 owners ‘feel’ like we have to upgrade. My GS2 with CM9 is better than most other smart phones out there. It can even stand next to the S3 proudly.
