I’ve noticed a disconnect between ordinary people and photographers. The internet has been filled lately with people ripping the iPhone camera and on Instagram for “ruining” photos. Meanwhile hoards of real photographers, professional and amateur, are embracing the medium and making wonderful things.
Real photographers love the iPhone camera and will often only use their DSLR and their iPhone as their two cameras. No more point and shoot. Photographers are in love with Instagram and other mobile editing apps, and love the Instagram community.
Meanwhile, hate pours in from tech forum comment sections. Why?
