I know. Lumias are good looking, smooth and more functional. Androids only got popular in India because of no other viable alternatives. But now, there are low-end Lumias.

You see opening up your brand instantly to millions of users for free as a sign of desperation? It’s free publicity of what Blackberry can do and that’s the shortest path they can take. I see it as an opportunity.

More like they hold on to their Nokias because they really last. Hardly any good new symbian phones out there now. It’s all Lumia now.

I don’t know. I feel that such devices will make a comeback. Internet and all connected nature of modern devices have made them much more suitable for media consumption and entertainment. Although education is part of it, the distraction factor on such devices is too great for any kind of meaningful learning. That’s where E-reader like devices can fill in.

Times of India is shit these days. Not reliable! And furthermore, if this was really happening, it would have been visible in web social circles by now. India does have a very vibrant and active Internet presence and it’s growing at a phenomenal rate.
