Your post is spot on. You can have all the apps and widgets you want but until the UI comes close to the grace and versatility of webOS, I will never feel fulfilled.

What about CM9 for Touchpad? That isn’t a decent ICS build? I’d disagree. I’m a webOS fanboi and I was very impressed at the experience it provided. Very very smooth, very few bugs (I haven’t hit one).

Exactly. Yahoo’s software team isn’t very good it seems. I remember when I used to use Yahoo Messenger on desktop. There were so many glaring bugs (even on the UI side) for so long and through so many versions. Give me some good QC any day.

Lets follow that same logic shall we?
I have a phone with Android. When you press a button it loads a clone of iOS pixel for pixel. It runs exactly the same and besides the fact that it is on different hardware, you’d swear it was made by Apple.
It’s ok though! Since it is run via a button and isn’t on the homescreen that makes it ok.

They couldn’t even provide a place with proper lighting to give people a hands-on. The purple tinge is annoying. Samsuck.
