I don’t think they are really catering to free users here…

Just the fact you aren’t interested in paying means it would be nigh pointless for them to let you use their apps.

I feel like a hipster when I say I peruse their app for music listening, but most of the time their reviews line up with what I like listening to. And it’s pretty diverse. So +1

Alfred is faster. The more you use it, the harder it is to go back to spotlight. That’s the main thing I noticed. Of course, more functionality and such as well.
