The White House most likely will back such a proposal. I always find it interesting that many people demonize someone like George Bush, when candidates from either major party are virtually identical on foreign and domestic policies (save for a very few areas).
And every election, like a bunch of morons, we will cheer on a single side as if they are the answer to all the problems in life.
