I came here to make an Apple Maps joke. Unfortunately, I used Apple Maps to find my way here, got lost, and see that someone has already made an Apple Maps joke.
I was in the audience and I got NO sense that Larry was talking about physically setting aside part of the world. I’m quite certain that he was talking metaphorically and addressing archaic laws and regulations that get in the way of innovation.
The Verge loses points for trying to sensationalize his words.
