Sony’s been doing a fantastic job of catering to developers over the past few years and even more so with the PS4. Granted we know nothing about the neXtbox, but over the past few years the Xbox has alienated developers.
Considering that both will be going with very similar architectures. I’m going where the (smaller) devs seem to be focusing. Also hate paying for Gold. I’m sure the real PS4-Gaikai stuff when it actually gets implemented will be behind a pay wall, but thats a justifiable cost, paying for online imo is not, hopefully Sony doesn’t charge for it!
I really hope they still retain the yellow street colour. All white streets are much harder distinguish, even if there is a width difference. While I love how smooth Apple’s map app is, I hate the all white streets.
I would argue video/photo editing could use dedicated graphics, but outside of those scenarios it really isn’t necessary.
I’m actually holding out for the Broadwell rMBP, but I really hope they maintain a discrete graphics card in there by that time, as I do like to occasionally play games and hobby photo/video edit etc.
