It’s only a matter of time before x86 catches up with power efficiency and ARM with raw performance. AMD will probably be the one that crosses ARM over the performance barrier as a viable alternative to x86 outside of mobile. It may be time to buy some AMD stock.

I have a feeling AT&T will be first out the gate this go around.

OIS was mentioned in the description so I would assume so. At least for now.

We are. That 40MP image gets sampled down to a much higher quality 5MP image. That’s the draw here.

X = anything. Basically it’s Nokia’s way of hiding the true number since it’s a prototype.

Yup. It’s either a on-board image chip or it’s S800. I’m honestly not expecting S800. The HTC Titan 2 had a separate image processing chip on board if I’m not mistaken, so Nokia can get around WP’s arbitrary S4 limitation that way without Microsoft.

By “annoyingly large bottom bezel” I assume you mean “ergonomic design that allows for comfortable one handed thumb navigation” correct?

Need more info. I was interested in the CovePoint form factor since Intel showed it off nearly 2 years ago it seems but a decent laptop using the form never materialized. I skipped right over the Duo 11. Well, I’m interested again, we’ll see how this one goes.
