“The War of the Lions” is the best version of FFT. The only thing this game lacks is the multiplayer… there are some items that can only be obtained through multiplayer-rewards. SquareEnix should implement multiplayer through WiFi/4G, in the meantime, PSP version is still the only true-complete WotL experience.

We won’t let it turn into a messy Twin Peaks / Lost-style bunch of unresolved strands, though.
Sometimes that’s the right way to go. Midichlorians, anyone?

there’s no continuity between each episode
But there IS continuity! Tobias episode is totally connected to Lindsay’s, just as the second episode of George Senior is to Michael’s. Also, the recurring jokes also make huge hidden (?) connections. (Like the ‘coincideeeence’ jingle).

It’s not made for Netflix, though, not made to be released and devoured at once.
I don’t get your logic here. It’s the same as buying a full season; the viewer has the choice to watch one episode per day, or the full season in one sitting.
Expectations for Arrested Development were so damn high. For me, this new season IS awesome. The recurring/hidden jokes are priceless.
Thank you Netflix.

How would this affect me if I was going to buy an HTC One? Could future updates/customer service be affected by the actual state of the company?

It’s ok, I’m aware of which exclusives are out there. By the way, Gears outsold a bunch (all?) of Sony exclusives combined in 2011. (no joke, this did happen).
But that’s the past.
My point wasn’t exactly that “exclusives don’t matter anymore”, it’s just that next-gen will be about something more. Right now, I prefer the console that offers me more features, not only games. If that were the case, I would just buy a WiiU and blind myself from cool, new, cutting-edge tech.

You know, I think next-gen won’t be about exclusives anymore… most triple A games are cross-platform now.
In the long run, a console with some exclusive games won’t give you back as much for your buck as a console that offers apps and content that rival Apple TV & GoogleTV (plus their own exclusive games obviously).

That’s exactly my situation now. Used to beat lots of games back in the day. Now, I literally had to schedule play times for Mass Effect (my favorite saga of this gen).

Not really. You have plenty of Bioshock in those 2 games. Go play those, and by the time you beat them (which I assume wont be soon), Infinite will be cheaper.
Unless you’re the kind of gamer that buys lots of games and never finish a single one of them. Then yeah, buy it now.
