Whatever content is in these “gated” torrent files will simply be re-uploaded to a site using a regular torrent file (minus the restrictions) for all to have.

Viber’s sync policy is still sorely lacking. I have added a few friends phone numbers (we all use iPhones) into my contacts list (and vice versa) yet we don’t show up on each others viber contact list and there is no way to fix this. We have the same exact phone numbers yet Viber is not smart enough to see those numbers, put them together and add us to each others contact list. I tried to add a friend who uses Windows Phone 8 as well – that was months ago and yet they still don’t appear in my contacts list even though our numbers are in each others phones. I wish there was a way to refresh or show us when it last synced the contacts list. I never have any issue with WhatsApp, even when changing SIMs in different countries which I visit often.

I can understand Schmidt – since keyboard cat is all his, but Nyan Cat is the work of 3 people – the guy who created the animated gif, the guy who created the music and the girl who put the 2 together. If she didn’t do that, then really there would be no Nyan Cat as the gif had been around for sometime along with the song. The real star of the Nyan Cat popularity is saraj00n – who merged the two together and uploaded it to Youtube. Of course she isn’t getting a penny!

I hope that when they announce the Surface, they don’t keep us waiting months to actually buy it like the original models. They get us all excited, hyped up and then we wait month after month for the release. This is the one time they should take a cue from Apple. It really pissed me off when we had to wait so long to actually purchase the Surface – even more annoying waiting for the Surface Pro which didn’t come till 6+ months after the announcement.

In this day and age – you cannot announce a product and then keep people waiting months.
