I love how everyone has jumped on the bash Microsoft bandwagon, “oh $499 is soo overpriced, etc” First, off it comes with an (easily at least $100) voice and motion detector camera system. Secondly $100 isn’t that big of a deal, most people waste that much money on fast food in a month!

Where does your 1/3 figure come from? The kinect is actually pretty awesome, and I was skeptical at first!

I had no problem with MS new policies and looked forward to the advances. Hell I live in rural Tennessee and I’ve not had a day without internet in forever. What a bunch of whiny babies! It doesn’t help that Sony and Jimmy Fallon twist things around and made it seem worse than it was!

No that’s just ludicrous. There isn’t a single law to even back that up. Seriously who honestly thinks of this?!

I don’t have google maps or youtube on my iPhone. I find both unnecessary. Apple maps works fine for me and I really never have even used youtube.

It BS that Apple Maps “didn’t work!” I use it everyday as I travel for work and I’ve only had two issues, both of which even google maps wasn’t right on!

They are still selling discs at the store. Also I live in rural Tennessee and regularly download large files, and I can’t even remember the last time I’ve had an outage, so I don’t think it will be as big of a deal as people are making it to be!

With all the cameras that exist in public places you’re worried about the Kinect. I mean seriously they’ve already said that it’s only going to be listening and respond to “xbox on” that it is not going to be “always on.”

Xbox One simply because the exclusives on Xbox, I actually really think the Kinect is quite useful, and I 10000000% prefer Xbox Live over PSN!

I’m running the beta and I really like it. On a regular basis I don’t mess with settings at all but if I go in a meeting I like to be able to turn dnd on real fast (outside of my already set dnd schedule). Also sometimes (very seldom, honestly) I find the need to adjust my brightness because auto-brightness hasn’t adjusted to my likes. So for situations like that the control center is awesome!
I think your app switcher worry is a stretch, you have to deliberately take an action to kill an app. As someone who uses their phone quite often I don’t really even see where even “accidentally” killing an app is a major issue!

Everyone else has pretty much nailed it. In fact the leather stitching on Find My Friends was said to copy a desk calendar from Job’s plane.
I honestly like the new OS updates.

If the iPhone was just a media player I would see your point but it isn’t. Personally as a developer I rather like iOS 7.

Personally I’d go for the Xbox One. The kinect alone is worth over $100 and it’s something that at first I thought was gimmicky but I use it every day now. Once I mastered dragon shouts on Skyrim it was awesome to just say them versus and hit my enemies! Not to mention that specs on paper doesn’t mean crap! The PS3 had better specs and except for exclusive titles the graphic differences was hit or missed based on titles.
And don’t even get me started on the Playstation Online Gaming Network- HORRIBLE experience!! I absolutely hated it!

Please explain how iOS is “dated”? That’s probably the dumbest comment ever when you compare iOS to Windows Phone or Android, aside from widgets on Android they all use icons to launch apps. Windows uses different sized tiles but that doesn’t make it innovative. And my HTC One doesn’t feel anymore sophisticated than my iPad.

If you have friends with both consoles, and a 24/7 Internet connection I don’t think you reall qualify as an “emerging market!” And where did he say anything about the U.S.? He could be anywhere? So you told him not to be stupid and make stupid comments, but you yourself made a pretty dumb and presumptuous comment!
