I remember there was a time when Apple fans were the annoying ones. At least Google really upended that market…

shrug I liked it. I don’t care for religious arguments as to whether it’s “a good thing”. And I have no actual complaints about OSX (besides the bloody Finder), it’s just that after ten years, I’m ready for a different design. At least with W7 I can quickly whip up a new colour scheme or something.

If an evil scientist kidnaps me, cuts off my arms and reattaches them back-to-front, then I’ll consider a backpack. Until then, I’ll stick to bags that I can access without weird calisthenics.

Oh, fuck me. If grammar nazis weren’t enough, now we’re going to get Ergonomy Nazis? What if the guy is genuinely happy with a set-up that works for him?

Well, WTF. The one thing that I genuinely liked better in W7 than OSX was Aero Glass.

Well, you know, their famous failure to embrace solid state drives, USB, touch screens, flash memory, etc. They really never seem to have any idea of what’s coming around the corner.

I genuinely think Max Payne 2 is the finest shooter ever made, and I’m beside myself with excitement for this one. Excuse me while I go teach my cats that cello theme…

Damn, but the video is intensely less cool than the description. What kills the crab here is the wobble and the fact that the ball is stuck so close to the upper surface.
I used to have a floating magnetic globe that only required the base, no upper part. It was a bastard to set up, but it worked. That is what this tech needs.

I keep going over my post, and I keep failing to see where I mention Android or the iPhone. That Linux was originally a clone of Minix is a matter of record, no least by Linus Torvalds himself.

Linus Torvalds is a nice guy; he’s friendly and quotable, but I don’t know in what universe cloning Minix constitutes “innovation”.
