Yes, I have read the little Sunday Times excerpt. But I stand, I think that they will say that those contracts signed in UK have a Google Ireland signature and the UK staff is only acting as an intermediary, and technically they are Irish and there is no illegality.

My fear is that they declare that the contracts are Irish ones and the London office where only proxies for sending and receiving the documentation.

If you sell a product in Germany and pay taxes to the German government, are you evading taxes because you don’t want the U.S. government to double-dip and also charge taxes?
The problem is that they don’t pay taxes in Germany
Apple and Google reported loses in Spain and because of that they had fiscal credits. The had record sales in Spain.
