I think having both makes a lot of sense right now. For me, it seems like the best way to expand these would be to either partner with a store or build his own, like a Dollar General. Put quick chargers at all the parking spots, and then have a battery swap out in front of the place like a gas station in front of a grocery store.
If you need to pick up a few things and will be a little while, you park and go in, if you just need a full battery for a trip, you hit the swapping station.
You’re delusional in your trust. Retail is what keeps the pricing in check. As soon as they have it locked down they will start spiking the prices until sales drop. They’ll find the bell curve and settle. I suspect games will get up to around 75 or 80.
