It’s limited to bandwidth and lag. The CPU and GPU are responding to new tasks incredibly fast. Over the internet it would take… maybe 10-20ms if you have a really good connection. Not practical at all, at least not for real-time graphics.

Cloud won’t do shit for the gaming performance. There is a reason why cpu and gpu are built into a machine and not a thousand miles away into a server. Cloud can in no way respond to the real time needs of processing which has to be done on the machine itself.

It’s not responding fast enough and it doesn’t have enough bandwidth… not sure why Microsoft made it sound like this is what they are planning with cloudprocessing.

My experience with iWork on iOS wasn’t better. I can’t name one document editor which works convenient on a small smartphone screen.

Even Pages on the iPad suck for me or at least I can’t work comfortably with it.

But I really like the style of the app which seems to fit into iOS 7 design. This made me remember the awesome mock up concept of Windows 8 here in The Verge forums.

There is a huge difference between Apple and Bose.

Apple produces high quality computers which feature certain characteristics which can be worth the price premium, like fantastic build quality, very good interfaces for the user (keyboard, trackpad, display) and software ecosystem. … good products.

With speakers… it boils down to just a few things… build quality, comfort and most important the sound quality. The build quality of Bose products doesn’t feel premium. I can’t comment on the comfort of portable devices from Bose. However most important: The sound sucks compared almost anything in the same price league.
Same goes for Beats headphones, both companies have very good marketing but just don’t deliver on the product.

Censor isn’t going to make the world a better place. This has to be seen and adds valuable emotion to the story and the ability to grasp the impact on Tarleton’s life.

I am really happy that it was shown and that it made me understand the circumstances.

Beats is on at all times? Oh no, please no! It works for the built in speakers but everything out of the headphone jack sounds terrible and has background noise.
