Personally I see both BB and Windows Phone overtaking iOS and Android in the next 3 to 5 years.
So I might be wrong, but if they execute correctly those two can seriously target to be number 1 and 2 in the mid/long term

The problem, Brian, is that there just aren’t that many people out there who care about “quality, integrity, accuracy,”
Maybe not, but if you add battery life, secure messaging, ability to separate work stuffs from private stuff and some very good note taking and productivity apps, then I believe BB can be quite compelling

Well, you say boring, I say muted, understated or discreet
To me, and it’s ok if you disagree, the Z10 has a no nonsense feel to it that I find kind of enjoyable. It is a piece of hardware that gets out of the way, doesn’t try to distract you from what you want to do, and I like that.

I am disappointed with The Verge review of anything not android/iOS,
I understand that they see smartphone as mainly consuming/entertainment devices, hence the concern with things like number of apps, screen resolution/size.
But for some of us a smartphone, is a tool to get things done, and I would have expected a review to take that into account.
For instance on the Z10 it is hard to select/copy/paste. The select tool is not really accurate and one can not predict when tapping on the screen would get the magnifying glass or the selection handles. Nobody at The Verge picked up on that (it seems that it has been corrected with the next updates), but that would have been a more relevant criticism than laments on the lack of fart apps.
Where are the assessment on how well one can sync tasks between Remember, and Gmail or Outlook? where are the assessment on how fast from the lock screen to having a appointment set and an invite sent with a document attached?
This piece here is not really useful for someone who expect to use the Q10 for what it is intended

Have you held one in your hand?
How is it more of a “black plastic box thrown together as an afterthought” than Galaxy SIII or the the iPhone to which it resemble?

When the reviewer says the Z10 has gotten mediocre reviews when reviews in fact ranged from good to neutral, he does sound like a hater.
When he says that the Z10 is “…an unornamented matte black plastic box, thrown together as an afterthought…” it is not an negative opinion, it is indeed an insult.
