Yeah… Majority? You’re out of your mind. No ones gonna care about this really besides enthusiasts which are a huge minority.

1. You’re quoted saying that we are always to expect current version + “0.5.” Let’s say you’re right, you’re not, that means Windows fans have said it a total of 3 times according to your source. Wow, that’s a lot.
2. You speak of WinCE in a really stupid way. You know that WinCE is just a base to build upon don’t you? WP7 was a complete rewrite. They started fresh. Dumped WM6.5 and WCE5.2 and moved on to WP7, a rewrite, with a hybrid form of WCE6 and 7.
3. WP8 i the successor t WP7 because of backwards compatibility with applications, potentially upgradable software, and the development tools remain the same as well as the UI paradigm. WM6.5 apps weren’t retained because applications are written differently, apply to different hardware, and guidelines.
4. No, I’m saying that Windows Phone fans haven’t really been saying, these next features will be implemented in this version + 0.5. This is because Windows Phone is a new OS.
And this argument you bring about me solely going to sides.
I’ve seen it muttered about WP in almost every thread to be honest since WM6.5 started failing.
You obviously knew what I was referring to early on in the conversation and even admitted to seeing it mentioned in every WP thread since the failure of 6.5. Now, I know you’re kind of slow, but I hope you understand now, dumbass.

1. Best apps? Definitely
2. Best design? Nokia and HTC would beg to differ. But subjective anyway.
3. Best accessories? True
4. Best touchscreen? WP7 is just as good.
5. Fastest touchscreen? WP7 is just as good.
6. Most uniformity? Not sure where you’re going with that. Of you mean software design than WP7 is just as good and Android will get there eventually.

9. Fastest multitasking? What?

I would say it’s unique, but I would stop right there. "Good" is highly subjective.
Good design isn’t subjective at all. It’s factual. The attractiveness of a design is subjective.
I’m not against competition in the market. I’m just against Microsoft providing it.
To forever condemn this company is a bit odd in my opinion. Sure, they made plenty of mistakes in the past but I believe they are incredibly essential and push innovation on the desktop, mobile, and gaming platforms. MS is a perfect third player in the mobile in my opinion, but you are entitled to yours.

Stupid just stupid.
1. Windows Phone 7 was NEVER called Windows Mobile 7. Ever. Windows Mobile 7, the true successor to WM6.5 was in development, scrapped, then WP7 was created. The whole, the next version is going to have “X” feature started to become more popular around 2007-08 since that’s when the iPhone and Android competition started to get heated. Before that, it was BBOS vs WM.
2. Pretty sure WM6.5 was based off of WCE5.2 and WP7 is a combination of WCE6.0 and 7.0.
3. WP7 isn’t a successor in the way WP7.5 is to WP7.0. Or how Android goes from 2.3 to 4.0. It’s a ground up rewrite.
4. My side? I own a HTC One X, iPad 3rd gen, iPod Touch, and a custom PC w/ Windows 8. Are you an idiot? I’ve owned an iPhone 3G, 4, Droid Incredible, Samsung Focus, and an HTC Titan. I don’t have a side you twat.
The fact that you generalize a group of people and say that they always say the next version is going to better is idiotic because for one, no shit, and two, Windows Phone 7 has only been around for one major update. WP7 = 1.0. That’s why there is no backwards compatibility nor support for older handsets whatsoever.

You fail to understand that WP7 has nothing to do with WM6.5 is simply stupid. They are two entirely different operating systems. People talking nonsense and spouting ignorant one sided statements annoys me.
