I need to stay at away from any other arrested development news. On the 26th I want to be completely taken by surprise. That being said, I am really hype for the season after seeing the trailer.

Please stay away from sprint dish. iDen is finally getting shut down, wimax only has 3 years left. Sprint finally is getting everything together, merging with another disparate company is not the best thing for them right now.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I can see more ‘accidental’ police shootings of civilians when they are aware of 3D printed guns. The orange tip on cap guns isn’t going to cut it anymore.

Reading through the conversation about gun rights is fascinating to me. I knew a lot of people who have been killed by guns. Some acquired legally, many more illegally. The thought of easily printed, untraceable (possibly unsafe) guns on the streets is scary.

He is trying hard to create FUD. Softbank will be 70% of sprint. It’s not like they are going to ship a bunch of Japanese salary men over to install the network, that’s already being done Charles. It’s being helped by the cash influx from that softbank has already given.
I hope sprint doesn’t go with dish, I’d hate to see it run by Yosemite Sam.

If dish doesn’t get sprint, they are probably going to sell their spectrum. I don’t think they have enough to be a true wireless carrier.
23 days ago on SoftBank CEO calls Dish bid for Sprint 'incomplete and illusory'
Comment
I would much rather have sprint 70% owned by softbank than 100% by dish. The spectrum dish holds is not worth the headache that would come with it. And with the combined debt, sprint wouldn’t be able to bid in the upcoming 600 mhz auction.

If dish does somehow end up with sprint, the company would have somewhere near 45 billion dollars in debt. If you think sprint is mired in debt now, imagine that crushing bill piled up on them.

I like having discs because I know that I own them. Netflix is fine casually, but what about when you’re internet is down or their right to stream it lapses. With physical discs you can play them as long as you have a player. And if you want to make a digital copy you can. But as you said different strokes…
