Microsoft’s current advertising is a refreshing change. (This one and the Windows phone wedding are great).

It’s refreshing because most of their advertising in the past, very much like Microsoft enthusiasts/fans of old, have been rather subdued/submissive and allow the competition to walk all over them.

There’s never been that militant mindset that you find in the iFan, until now. I recall the Nokia Lumia 900 review, and the resultant backlash from MS fans as the turning point.

It was also at this time when the MS forums rapidly grew in size from the bottom of the pile to where it is now. The forum wasn’t even the third largest, as I remember Gaming, Mobile and others had more posts at the time! Lol

Macs weren’t designed for Windows in mind.
Add in Windows 8, and the experience is inferior to hardware designed for the Microsoft OS.

Besides the obvious senseless fanboi nonsense, the best bet is NOT to buy a Macbook, but to buy a laptop purposely built for Windows 8.

As good as a Macbook may be, it was not designed for Windows.

I find it quite irresponsible and frankly idiotic of this person to tell someone else to buy, what will be, a second rate experience.

The point is, the ad shows what Windows can do, and similarly, what the iPad cannot. E.g. Side by side multitasking etc.

If you think the iPad can do side by side multitasking, then by all means say so.
