Have you been following this at all? Companies will have their own “Store.” So your employees can pop in there and get your software, but no one else can. Don’t spread FUD if you don’t know what you are talking about.

Especially being the proud owner of a new Lumia 900. Now this is how you make a phone!

I can honestly say that my Samsung Captivate is one of the crappiest phones I have ever used. All of the phones that Samsung makes are cheaply made plastic. They are garbage. After my experience with the Captivate I will never by a Samsung handset ever again.

Is there a source for you saying that Samsung’s tablets are fairing better than Amazon’s? Amazon takes up more than half of ALL Android tablet sales:

I don’t think you understand what you are talking about. WinRT is positioning itself in the best place possible. Microsoft does not want you using the desktop application on WinRT because you should be using Metro. My only point is, if no one complains about this issue on the iPad then why are we complaining that Microsoft’s tablet will do this? Who cares? Are you actually going to want to use Chrome on desktop mode? I would argue you are doing it wrong then.

What does that have to do with anything? I’m saying on the iPad you can’t override the default browser. WinRT is more equivalent to iPad than Win 8 so what’s the problem?

You are also confusing specs with what is actually required to run your software. It sounds like you are trying to penalize Microsoft for creating an OS that is capable of running fantastically on much lower software specs. What does it say about Android when you need a quad-core phone to get it to not choke up when doing simple tasks?

You know Windows 8 != iOS and Android right? Windows 8 is a full fledged windows experience. iOS and Android are Smart Phone OS’s, so you can’t compare the two. The closest you can come is comparing Win RT, which is the ARM version.

I guess you should just cover your eyes and ignore all of the rumors of Windows ARM tablets at the $300 price point.

The fact that you say “mostly” gone shows that its still there. I’ve not experience ANY lag on my Lumia 900, and it doesn’t need a quad-core processor to prevent lag, “most” of the time.

Nice straw man you set up there! No one has claimed that Microsoft is the model ethical company. They are just saying it is time to let Microsoft free of the anti-trust yoke and let them compete fairly.
