Video’s up, 2.5 minutes into “Welcome & Introduction” FWIW

This only makes sense if
a) the 4S didn’t have a ridiculous camera upgrade to the undisputed best smartphone camera (from the already fantastic 4 camera
b) Apple had stolen Siri from another company, software design and all
c) the 4S had been made from cheap, gaudy plastic and looked worse than any previous iPhone.
d) iOS 5 had been a minor upgrade to software no one likes, rather than the introduction of a really useful cloud service that millions now enjoy.

There’s a big difference between “maintains the same appearance with innovative software improvements and new/improved hardware/features” and “looks worse than previous iteration, brings nothing of note to the table.” Samsung promised something world-altering, and failed to deliver. Simple as that.

I think it’s a glass vs. plastic thing. I actually really like the look of the white iPhone, but my wife dibs’d it… And we can’t have identical phones. :)
