I’m hoping Google will call Verizon out on their once "Open Initiative " for their network.

Please let this apply to phones that work on the Verizon network!!! I can only hope that either Google will have all OEMs buildworld radios into all future Nexus phones or Verizon won’t be Verizon-like and not allow these phones access to the network.

Ohh Microsoft . . . ! I guess you are either counting on a “Right Wing” Congress that you can pay-off to look the other way or a change in the White House.
Either way, I find it amusing that you claim that RT is not Windows anymore, but I’m sure your advertising will clearly claim that RT is the Windows you remember and more.

I repeat, China has no bearing on this merger. If China does not approve the merger, then Google/Motorola have the option of: not doing business there; paying off the Chinese government in assets, technology, whatever; or sell off Motorola to another party.
Just because one country does not approve a merger, if the host country of the two firms approves the merger, and the collective markets,EU, approves the merger, you’re merged.
