We could all switch to sprint or tmobile and teach AT&T and Verizon as lesson. Except we would probably kill their network and they would give limited data. :-/ maybe if we promised to live the republic wireless lifestyle as much as possible?

If the internet didn’t exist I think I would have a 4.0 in college. But I would rather have my 3.0 with internet.

This has probably been said. But if you get the GNEX for 400 off contract and hate it then you can sell it when the next iPhone comes out and probably not have the worst losses. Sell your 3GS and you can make a little more cash. Assuming you will be staying with ATT of course.

Looks like there are more than one iPhone 4 users looking to switch. I used the One X in AT&T store and was blown away as well. I have been using a Samsung Fascinate that I rooted and put ICS on to see if I could get used to using an Android phone as my main phone and so far I think I could definitely adjust to this.

I will wait until Thursday to see what the SG3 is like but will most likely be purchasing the One X.

That being said I have a whole family who doesn’t really like upgrading phones so I could use at least two maybe three upgrades if I really feel like it. I would like to upgrade once a year instead of once every two years.

Check out Anandtech’s review on the phone as it is probably the most detailed review out there. I believe with ICS you will find it a very easy switch from iOS.

The one thing I will probably miss the most iTunes Match. :-/

If you want to stick with the iPhone wait until October. iPhone 4S is 6 months old and the next iPhone should be drastically different. LTE will be very prominent during the next 2 years and I would definitely want LTE on my phone if it was in my area which it should be soon.

This year definitely is a big year for the iPhone. There are a lot of people that bought that got iPhone 4’s as their first iPhone and those contracts are running up now for ATT at least (Verizon iPhone 4’s have a bit more time). Since it looks more than likely like the next iPhone will not be out until September/October of this year that potentially leaves a ton of off contract iPhone owners looking into new phones coming out now. I think Apple took a big risk changing their release schedule and I’m sure they will see at least some users jump ship because of this. I will most likely be getting an android phone this week (One X or SG3 possibly).

I guess my real point is that Apple needs to be aware that they need to show users a reason to stick around while they are off contract. Maybe show off some awesome iOS6 features at WWDC or leave a prototype in a bar.

Motoactv is a solid improvement on the iPod Nano. I really want it for the golf edition. Having a separate gps to relieve my phone of the burden while golfing would be awesome. Of course if Apple did this it would be better but I can’t really see them getting into the golf gps scene… but that’s just me. Oh and the motoactv can’t sync with iPhones major downer.

I’d like my stupid weather icon to not say 72 and sunny. I live in Seattle do you realize how often it isn’t 72 and sunny. That icon is wrong 95% of the time. I have wanted this to change since 2007.

It didn’t seem like we had enough patent trolls in the world… Oh wait we do.
