Android games have many graphic details turned off. I think worst offender is GTA series, they turn off everything to make Android devices run smoother and even then supposedly underpowered iPad mini runs circles around Nexus 7.

That was merely PR stunt, because they returned few weeks after that.

Mission control likes to re-order your spaces for you based on what you last used, unlike spaces where every app would stay put.
What do you mean by this? I’m new mac user and only used original spaces for a brief period of time, but Mission control doesn’t seem to rearrange anything. I have apps pinned to certain desktops too and unless I move them they stay there.

They don’t measure your ability to code per se, yet they can give them pretty good estimate of your value as an employee. Mainly because you can be programming ninja, yet when you are irresponsible, can’t work in team, have no ambitions, have no “outside of the box” thinking etc all goes to hell and these are the main things they are focusing on. They will find out how you code in the first few weeks and will have chance to fire you.
Even as a programmer myself I’m kinda saddened, that there still exists this mindset that these interview questions are unnecessary, or even wrong. Thankfully, this mindset is finally dying out and is mostly perpetuated by people who failed these tests (not saying that you have, just my experience).

Take a look at GPU benchmarks, some of them have regular S4 alongside S4 in freezer.

App data. All your savegames, documents inside of apps etc are lost. AFAIK Google made cloud storage available for developers, but nobody uses it for some reason.
That’s why Titanium backup is/was so popular.

Great game, but fighting portion of the game is nowhere near quality of Infinity blade 2. But bosses and exploration are great additions, I hope Infinity Blade 3 will have something like that.
Also upgrading weapons is sloooooooow process without IAP. Be prepared to grind.

Thank you. Both my work and school revolves around mathematics and programming, so I’m quite used to the english terminology of both fields. My vocabulary in virtually any other field is far smaller though.

Exactly. Although I think Macrumors is much better example in this regard. I stopped visiting that site because poster/trolls ratio was getting out of hand. It was a great site in the original iPhone days…

I’m well aware of that and It was certainly not my intention to throw everybody who frequents XDA into one bag. I’m talking about that vocal minority, subset of XDA posters, that doesn’t contribute anything and lives just to find anti-Apple tidbits on the net. I’m pretty sure you met a lot of them there. Simpletons seems like quite nice word to call them to be honest.
English is not my first language (not even second), so maybe I wrote it wrong, but it was not on purpose.

They only release stuff that guarantees bucket loads of money!
No they don’t, because there is no way to tell. They certainly try, but so does Google. The only difference is, that Apple releases their products later in their development, so they catch and kill most duds. Google lets you participate in beta-testing but that is double-edged sword. On one hand, you can be part of interesting project far sooner. On the other, you risk that they will simply pull the plug.

For those interested, 2Kool2bU is “trolling” (although I hate that trolling means right now “make everybody think you are bigger idiot than you really are”), it’s just a glorious trap for people like sgodsell, CharlesJWhite etc. He just used bunch of smart words they never heard and automatically assumed that it’s all truth.
I expect to see “iOS doesn’t have multitasking, because of HFS” in every marginally apple-related topic on XDA by next week. Simpletons on that site loooove things like that, but hate to actually google whether it’s truth or not.
And to spoil the fun: no, multitasking is not in any meaningful way related to filesystem. Seriously, stop being so gullible and read up on it (this is directed to all those people who believed 2Kool2bU, not 2Kool2bU himself).
