A well written app should have it’s visual resources separate from its code. Especially with the way things are done since ICS. Views should be fragments by now, and HOLO style should be incorporated into the XML unless you are writing custom views and animations.
The views should be created and styled in XML and referenced in the code only. If you are building views in code you are gonna have a bad time. Especially when it comes to updating the app and supporting multiple screen sizes.

Google already does a version of this, that’s why manufacturers want to be in the Nexus program! They are given early access to the next version of Android in exchange for building a nexus with lower profit margins.

Google Docs has an excellent equation tool, I’ve used it many times while writing reports in Engineering. Google Docs has improved massively in the last few years. It’s still lightweight, but has most of the features of Office in addition to real time collaboration.
The only big thing it’s missing is Macro’s now, which I can see being difficult to implement inside of the browser.

Really? I care about having custom/3rd party keyboards, does WP allow me to do that? Nope. Even my mom uses a GS2 with a keyboard that has bigger buttons and more than one letter per key.
I care about having custom launchers and gestures so I can customize my device, WP? Again No.
People complain about touchwiz, sense, stock, etc. but if people don’t like it there are a ton of launchers in the market that completely change the device and how you interact with it, all without requiring any more effort than installing an app. No other OS currently allows that.
You can even simulate a Windows Phone using Android, but still have all the benefits of Androids ecosystem using Launcher 8
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lx.launcher8
and plenty of apps have “Modern UI” alternative theme’s like UberMusic

Banned for using it’s own maps? What are you smoking dude? You can choose to be part of the OHA and use Google’s apps but no where does that ever mean you can’t use your own maps. Samsung has plenty of apps that overwrite functions that Google’s apps provide, S-Translate, S-Voice, etc. None of them are even close to as good as Google’s which is likely a similar scenario to what Nokia’s maps would be like on Android.
Nokia should make devices with every competitive OS, like Samsung, HTC, etc. People can then choose the phones and OS they like.
Heck it probably wouldn’t take much effort on their part to make a Lumia run the latest Android.
