Here’s the HUGE DIFFERENCE between any Judeo-Christian religion (Catholic, Mormon, Evangelical, Protestant or whatever) and these Orthodox Jews: the latter are not trying to enforce their view of the world on anyone outside their faith.
Rest assured, if the radical bible-thumpers would want to ban the internet in the US, they’d get it done with ease, with all the political power they can pull
(I too was raised in a Roman Catholic household, but I believe at some point I was given a bit more leeway towards choosing my own beliefs system than in a “typical” Catholic family :)
