He recently said on twitter that he dropped his HTC one, but more than likely he will be using another phone (probably iphone as well), I don’t know about any tablets though.

It rotates with the news cycle though, there hasen’t been any proper ‘google’ news since I/O and at that time there were articles showing problems with google and it’s services.

But why not keep the same battery found in the current Nexus 7. It’s not going to be saving money and it’ll increase the battery life no matter how power efficient android becomes. It’s stupid and why it makes me think that there is more to this than is currently known.
