3rd Gen iPad is retina and its ppi is less that 300 (i.e. 264). Also I am not an expert on the topic of optics, but if your nose is on the screen you aren’t seeing anything clear, let alone the dots on a high res screen.

From what I understood, discovery is not going to change how Rev3 functions as of now. They will let Rev3 continue doing what they do for some time, while discovery figures out how to fit web shows into their existing cable business model.
Also, I don’t think Epic Meal Time is going anywhere in near future , (as you can clearly see from all the articles about this deal on the interwebs) it is one of the top shows of Rev3.

Cloud storage is the new email. You were trying to make ends meet with 10mb inbox, by deleting emails everyday and suddenly everybody wants to give you more storage space than you ever thought you’d get. Then you stopped deleting emails, then you stopped reading all the emails but kept marking them as read to maintain inbox zero, then you stopped marking them as read, then your inbox exploded, and then you finally quit internet.

I have exact opposite feelings. I felt good for paying 2 bucks for the app that I have been fondly using since last 4 years. Mountain Lion may or may not kill it, but I think they do deserve 2 bucks for delivering thousands of notifications to me over the period of last 4 years.
Also, unacceptable? really? How would you like them to pay you for using their app? Will that make you change your avatar?
