You’d be surprised how untrue this is.

You might be able to run OS X on it anyway. I have 10.8.3 on my X230t (but it’s only 95% stable). You’ll need to decide whether it’s worth it.
As for when it will be released, support for it was added to a few Lenovo drivers a couple weeks ago so it can’t be that far out.
