There are ways to reduce CO2 in the atmosphere as well, not just reduce the amount we produce with solar and wind power. Take a look at projects like this: http://www.earthtechling.com/2012/04/algae-powered-street-lamps-suck-up-c02/. There are many other projects that are considered “co2 scrubbers” that can help reverse what we’ve done.

That attitude is exactly how we got into this mess, isn’t it? Let me guess, Republican? Tea Bagger?

I agree. I’ll probably be one of the people who test it for one day then uninstall, but it is still a popular phone to target.

What do you mean “how stupid that sounds”? It’s a fact. Just because you don’t like the fact doesn’t make it a stupid fact, it’s a relevant fact to the story and one worth talking about.

People don’t want a gigantic box sitting on top of their gigantic cable box, next to their massive receiver and blue-ray player. They dropped the DVD Drive for space conservation and aesthetic appeal, not to save 10$ on the DVD drive. The likely hood of it playing full Xbox 360 games is virtually non-existent because it would have to use a 7 year old PowerPC processor that would generate just as much heat and require just as much space as the old one, because it IS the old one.
What’s more likely is that it will be based on an ARM processor and will be able to stream games from your Xbox 720, and if they’re smart, your Xbox 360 as well. This in addition to all the TV content and Netflix, Hulu+, ect would make it a killer device.

This would be great for all the reasons that you mention, however I doubt Xbox 360 compatibility with the exception of arcade/indie games and more likely than not, Windows RT games. But the real magic would happen when you have an Xbox 720 in your living room and one of these bad boys connected to each other T.V. Mom’s watching reality T.V. on the big screen? No biggie, just stream the Xbox 720 game through your home Wi-Fi to your Xbox Mini and you’re golden. If they could bake streaming capability like that into it, it would be a no brainer for SOOO many house holds.
