The design looks clean and appealing. It also might cause Facebook to react with changes, which could be beneficial (like automatic lists after Google’s circles).

Ideally this would have timing support. I’d love to be able to tell my iPad to be silent overnight and then automatically change back in the morning.

Actually, the Verge preview of Google Drive said that even opening from the PC sync app just opens your browser with the .gdoc file – you can’t open the files natively without opening from the browser, then downloading a copy.

That’s my third solution listed above. It works as far as syncing files is concerned, but causes some issues to the OS X libraries. :(

That’s a step up from the Mac client, where you don’t even get the initial sync!

I hope by the time Windows 8 rolls around, they’ll have updated the clients…
