It’d be cool if they stuck with the “shortened” theme across all products. Shortened search (searching “The Verge” returns fourteen results). Shortened emails. And the ultimate prize: a shortphone.

This story is mostly about the big studios. Digital is unquestionably king in low budget indies. And Canon’s new 4K solution is pretty out of whack. Cameras like the 5DmkII and Lumix GH2 own it. And it’s all great, image wise. The story you present on screen doesn’t care about this tug of war.

I hear ya, but with Apple track record of wild success, you’d think some of these companies would be happy to partner with them.

Note to cable TV networks: it is broken, do fix it.

I still watch live news. This is likely due to my lack of cable TV.

Really? What about every single cable network on Earth?

What would happen is that I would purchase Sunday Ticket from Apple. I’ve never been interested nor lured by DirecTV, so I will not be sending the wallet in their direction.

This is a bummer because I am ready for some football.

He doesn’t like his local ISP, so he went wireless. You just got it, so you love it. He’s had it since it began, and he wants a new option.

I moved recently and still haven’t gotten a cable modem. I will enventually, but my iPhone 4 and tethering plan is pretty good for most things. It’s letting me take my sweet time getting a cable deal going again, anyhow.
