I know the display of the KURO series, and more recently the Panasonic displays, were/are the best in the business. I just wish the actual hardware and bezels were sleeker and sexier. They’re just kind of…..ugly.

Nope. You’re wrong. Is it expensive to carry the iPhone? Absolutely. In order to compete, you HAVE to offer the most popular device. Think about how bad it would look of Sprint didn’t offer the iPhone. See T-Mobile.
