When his parents denied him a Super NES, he got mad. When they traded a prize Sega Genesis for a 2400 baud modem, he got even. Years of internet shareware and eBayed possessions later, Sean Hollister graduated to Tier 2 Geekdom with an internship at Wired Magazine. One recession and several video game testing jobs after that, he somehow managed to get hired by Joshua Topolsky. The rest is history in the making.

We take average FPS and minimum FPS into account when we say whether a game is playable. With my eye on a FRAPS counter the entire time, I didn’t see Crysis 3 dip beneath 30 while I was playing my test run. As far as I’m concerned, you can average 100+ FPS, but I’m not going to call a game playable if it dips below 25 unless it’s an extremely random and rare occurrence.

PC games are (for the most part) solo or online multiplayer affairs. I’d like to have an awesome portable screen so I can carry a console and a laptop for single-screen co-op and versus games.

It doesn’t cross your minds that perhaps “yes” and “no” are both potential answers here, and we simply don’t know?

Or the word “yes,” should it be true.
