Thanks for the info…The plans are very enticing, and it once again, has me reconsidering….especially since I just learned that Verizon does not allow group texting. Im shaking from having to think about all this haha.

I have the HD7 on tmobile, and for the first 20 months or so, I was able to do mobile hot spot…but then in the last few months, it seems as if it works for about 30 minutes and then it stops, followed by a text to my phone from tmo that says if I want to use my phone as a hot spot, then I have to pay XX dollars per month.

Is this suppose to be a free service with the plan?

Yeah thanks! Im now learning that Vodaphone somewhere in europe will be the one to pick up the 32gb one…

I dont think I can hold out past this week so Verizon it’ll be. Plus I just saw the wireless charging backer on the 925 and dont think that is something I like.

awe man, I was pretty certain I wanted the 928, but now that I have seen more photos of the 925, I may have to rethink this…Verizon or TMO….Verizon, better coverage….TMO, unlimited data… Verizon phone this week, TMO after frickin June….Verizon, nice phone….TMO, Noice phone in aluminum….

and now im hearing that the 925 comes in 32Gig storage option as well?

i think there should be some customization to delay the response of the buttons to 1-2-3 seconds. that might help…or add a separate hardware button that locks it. whenever my niece plays fruit ninja, she emds up swiping too far and hits the buttons, so im constantly having to monitor her to make sure she stays in the game.

it is somewhat awareness too…

I had a friend say she heard WP cannot do youtube,
and another friend who has been on the MS ecosystem (Windows Mobile, XP, 7) started off on the iphone, then got an ipad, then now a mac….and never turning back.

But i did have to explain to her that WP is not Windows Mobile….but that does not matter to her, and it shouldnt.

I have an HD7 and love it, but its dated now and desperately need TMO to get a good WP8.

What I am saying is that when the Surface was launched, there was a huge uproar about the storage….I just figured that the same was going to happen with the S4…but apparently its not the same thing because, as 2 people have noted:

• The S4 is a phone, and the Surface is a tablet; therefore, it’s okay for one and not the other
• The S4 cost $200 and the surface cost 500-1000; therefore, its okay for one and not the other

I don’t really agree with either one, but this is the world we live in.

Thats news to me….arent android fans snatching up Galaxies and Notes left and right? I actually have a good perception of Samsung appliances. For phones, all I hear are praises. There are mixed bags with User experiences, but hardware specs is always about Galaxies! Are Android fans more into motorola do you think? probably because its pure android and not layers on top like Samsung phones.

When I first got the RT, i did not get the typecover….at that point, it was already a great device. I recently got the typecover and it has elevated my experience. So no, the typecover is not a requirement…but I agree that Office is not as useful without it….I just use office more now that I have it heheh.

I think that the reaction would have been different because of the perception of MS, not necessarily a conspiracy theory.

i dont agree….it is not a flop, it isnt overpriced because i would not have bought one, and the keyboard cover isnt required anymore than an ipad requires one. i use office all the time and its definitely justifiable price for what you get.

i also dont think the issue of storage space for a phone vs a tablet is so different that it becomes excusable to dismiss one vs another.

i also agree that their isnt conspiracy against ms, as ms has done plenty to recieve negative perception. it is just interesting to see what gets tech people riled up, and then forum folks to follow. i was pretty sure i would not have to start a thread cuz i assumed there would be plenty.

i do believe though, had this been a windows phone, the reaction would be different.

But it did make sense…for the same price, you got the same usable storage between the 32 surface and the 16 IPAD.

have you tried it the “hard way” yet? There are two ways to do it and this way has been successful for me. It recognizes new items added to the library on the SD card
