I imagine we’ll see the $99 refresh now. $199 with Kinect.

Nope. He can play on the same machine as long as his fathers gamertag is also on the same machine. It would work much like how Xbox Live games work on Xbox 360. For example my girlfriend owns Castle Crashers, but I can log in and play it as myself without activating her account.

Nope. As long as you’re signed into that machine on your account that the game is bought on they can play it too.

Well, there’s no set discussion from what Ryan has said. As long as the conversation is relevant to Microsoft anything goes.

There will probably be a doomsday device involved which the Augments will steal (probably Genesis).
That would involve Carol Marcus not being on the Enterprise. And the Enterprise not being on a 5 year mission.
Pretty sure they won’t be going down that road, but it will be Klingon related for sure.

A plot device coming across this convoluted — and causing this much confusion — is a storytelling issue.
You’re right on the money with that part. Also – why did nobody notice the augments were actually missing?

I wrote this thing around a year ago about Microsoft and a shared Windows 8 platform for Durango – PC – and Mobile after Develop conference (which was a blast) here on the forums.
This is what I thought back then about the whole Microsoft ecosystem.

HELLO MICROSERFS.
This is a great way for a community to grow, great work Ryan.
Regarding the new Xbox. I’m honestly guessing it’s going to be on parity with Sony’s offering, but I’m not sure what their secret sauce will be yet. Will it be ‘always online’ in the sense that it needs an internet connection to do the basic stuff? Nope, but I’m sure it’ll maintain a connection even when powered down so it can download stuff you DO want in the background/have easy access.
Kinda like a TiVo box, you know?
Anyway, whilst I’m here I’ll just say I look forward to the nice conversations here on the Serf’s thread. Maybe I’ll have a Polynauts vs. Serfs game night at some point in the future. You guys like F2P stuff, right?

Marcus didn’t know the augments were in there. In fact he only knew they were advanced warheads – presumably capable of massive destruction.

Because the Klingon fleet was off engaging Federation colonies, it’s that deep pause for breath before an all out war. It’s also why they had smaller birds of prey on the surface chasing the smuggler ship. The intent was to have the Enterprise fire torpedoes to the surface of the planet then suddenly be crippled by a warp core malfunction. After the Klingons got word that a Starfleet vessel fired on their homeworld they’d return, destroy the Enterprise and call for all out war.

Firstly they say “he’s gone to the one place we can’t go, Kronos.” 2 mins later… Hey, here we are on Kronos.
He meant Starfleet. Which is why they affected non-Starfleet regalia during the away-mission and used a slavers ship they captured several months beforehand. The fact the Enterprise was crippled there on the edge of the Klingon homeworld was an intentional effort by the admiral to have the Federation flagship destroyed in battle and start a war.
Especially since it was armed with advanced torpedoes.

I also didn’t understand Peter Weller’s plan
It was to use the Enterprise to start a war in Klingon space by firing warheads at their homeworld. It just happened that Khan hid his crew in the warheads, Admiral Marcus seemingly didn’t know they were there.
