There’s also the understandable ~/Library/Preferences , Caches, Application Support structure. If I need to clear out the Preferences for an application and reset it just installed, I know where all that stuff without even having to Google it up.

Where as in windows I need to find the obscure registry entry buried in a cryptic tree structure.

I use Siri to set up calendar appointments a lot. The add event UI in Calendar requires a lot of taps just to set up a simple event. Whereas Siri almost always get it right in 2-step:

Calendar.app
1. Tap arrows or scroll view to next friday.
2. Tap “+”
3. Type “Lunch with Jenn at Moxie’s”
4. Tap Start/End Time cell.
5. Scroll wheel to set start time to 12:30.
6. Tap done.
7. Tap done again.

Siri
1. “Schedule Lunch with Jenn at Moxie’s at 12:30 next Friday”
2. “Confirm”
