To be fair the Macbook Air has a great price. All the windows ultrabooks cost around the same price, and while researching all of them, eventually you realize all are deeply flawed in one way or another to compensate having a bit more RAM or whatnot. Considering you can upgrade the memory (and of course, not in-store. Apple’s prices for extras like more RAM are dreadful) for cheap, Windows ultrabooks have no advantage.
Probably the Air would cost just a little bit more, and you get years of great performance and awesome build quality. After you’re ready to move on to another machine, you can sell the Air for half the price you paid on the internet.
