I bet it’ll use use Direct X as the back-end on Windows. Just like Firefox’s current HWA uses Direct X for Windows but OpenGL for OS X and Linux.

Adblocking is already built-in to IE for quite a few versions now. You just have to enable it.
Sadly, that’s really about it. You’d think a company so devoted to its “DEVELOPERS DEVELOPERS DEVELOPERS” would have a world class API and Add-on development capabilities for its browser, but they’re non-existent. It’s the single biggest thing keeping from using any other browser but Firefox.
And before anyone suggests otherwise – no, Chrome doesn’t come close either.

Nuances of the english language my friend.
I’m dying to hear of an acronym whose first letter isn’t pronounced like the letter of the word it represents. I can’t think of any off the top of my head, so please enlighten me if you can.

GIF (or Graphics Interchange Format)
Fuck you, it’s GIF, with a nice hard “G.” Let me know when the pronunciation of the word “graphics” changes and maybe then I’ll change my pronunciation of “GIF.”

Switching architectures didn’t stop them from including backwards compatibility in the Xbox 360.
The original Xbox used an off the shelf x86 CPU from Intel and the 360 used a custom IBM Power CPU but I was still able to play my Xbox games on my Xbox 360.
This just smacks of either laziness or greed. Probably a little of both.

Download Zune, congratulations, you can use it with Windows 7.
Xbox Music was a simple marketing rebrand. It doesn’t do anything different from Zune that came before it.

If by 10’s of millions you mean no one, sure.
Also, Zune still exists which can you still on any version of Windows of XP and up. So once again, YOU’RE WRONG!
I see a pattern developing here of people commenting on articles of which they know nothing about.

Spotify started off in Europe. They’re a relative newcomer to our shores compared to the likes of Pandora and Zune/Xbox Music.

In the U.S. it has access to 30 million tracks or so. I have no idea how good the selection is in your country however.
