If you gave me 5Mb up and 5Mb down and a phone battery that lasts 3X as long, I’d take that any day!..That’s me personally…
Unless 4G can cure the Football Stadium bombardment when it all grinds to a halt (which from the 4th May it didn’t lol), I’ll not be impressed with it xD

LTE coverage actually is shorter range than 3G according to specs of network operators. Also as it stands, you can’t use data and make a phone call at the same time where as on 3G you can. I believe it still suffers from the “Umbrella affect” too.
On another note, a colleague of mine in the office has a Lumia 920 but on EE’s 4G data..his speed via Tap n Send below;

EE’s network is half baked at the moment.

Telefonica have improved the customer service front of O2, but the 3G performance and overall data is shocking!. Three only exist because the UK government continue to write off their debts. I think France telecom will sell off their share in EE

It’s not how pretty the app looks, its how useful it is and how well it does it’s job.
I will continue to follow LTE/4G with interest in the summer to see what happens in the UK. I’m of the belief that we don’t really need 4G yet and I think it should be more heavily refined (ie longer range, less interference, etc) before its introduced. Afterall, the UK has one of the best 3G coverages and with the roll out of DC-HSPA, speeds are more than sufficient.

I think Virgin Mobile still have insane QoS in place. I read somwhere that they said its full speed for the first 15gb or something and then 3G after. Can’t remember where. I know it caused uproar though.
