If theater owners are upset at the downward sales of ticket sales over the last decade, then they should so something about it. In most cases, going to the movie theater flat out sucks. I can see why less people have wanted to go to the theaters. Maybe if they MADE a compelling reason or experience at the theater, more people would want to go. And by compelling experience, I don’t mean providing 3D glasses…

I wonder if Google will ever address or acknowledge the possibility of a super computer becoming self aware or anything like that. Maybe the technology itself is its infancy and the possibility of it happening is so slim that they don’t even bother…

This is quite interesting. Are you guys at The Verge considering implementing this or a version of this in the future?
Also I think the fact that something like this HAS to be implemented to kind of hide things from the government is a little sad, but a sign of the times I guess…

I wonder if this has anything to do with the AP’s twitter account being hacked claiming there was an explosion in The White House & President Obama being injured…
Shit I’ll probably be under surveillance from the Justice Department now just for suggesting it!

The fact that the Secret Service even got pictures of the men at the ATM would suggest that the criminals on the ground weren’t aware of the entire situation at large. One would think its common knowledge that there are cameras at ATMs, so if you’re going to steal a ton of money from them, wouldn’t you conceal your identity?
Also I find it interesting that the person that escaped to the Dominican Republic was found dead, WITH the money still left there. With the original hackers also remaining at large, this totally reeks of massively concise organization. Sounds like something straight out of a movie.

I’m not a super privacy advocate, but I enjoy my privacy where I can get it – but after they released this, I caved in and gave Google access to my whole life. Location. Photos. Everything. I’ve been wanting to see how Google Now works first hand for quite some time so I literally said “Fuck It”. Out loud.
