Here in Germany, only one box is needed. Most households have a simple “power outlet” in the wall for TV. So we just have a cable that normaly goes into your TV. Now it goes into the xbox. BAM. One (X)box, for everything.

It’ll probably help me get rid of the TV control, if it handles my external harddrives and the TV signal. Germany here – we don’t have the problem of cable boxes and everything so i’m very optimistic

Well… Microsoft is launching the Xbox One AROUND THE WORLD. The US is not the center of the universe. And i guess the problem described in the article is not Microsofts fault. It is the fault of cable companies, american “standards” and consumers not demanding hard enough for said standards.

same. I use chrome because it is light, has the plugins i need (which is why i don’t use IE10) and it syncs between my Win8 Desktop, Win8 Laptop and rMBP.
Front-End development is done on Firefox though.

I also don’t get it. There are similar chairs from luxury brand Vitra here in Germany and i have to say – they are not really good looking but more important: they are so uncomfortable. Especially if you’re not a dwarf. And thats for 500€ to 1000€. No thanks!
