Aren’t you also assuming things on your own? I feel like he was referring to its exclusivity on Facebook. I don’t see why anyone would like to be limited after all!
While I would still likely get the One developer edition over this, the fact that this phone is directly supported by Google is a huge plus. It’s really great because it means you’re going to get updates in a timely manner and things will just work(at least as much as they can since updates do occasionally break things!)
I’m not going to argue about the virtues of a proper controller, but I think most people want to play games on their mobile devices because it’s just so awesomely convenient. I’ve played Final Fantasy on my phone and it’s honestly not bad at all with a touch screen.
I imagine it would be the same if they would port the old Pokemon games. I’m not saying they should devote all their resources and abandon the 3DS, but I don’t really see any reason for them to not take advantage of what is a huge and growing market. If anything, it’d be interesting to see them make some interaction between mobile and handheld, or perhaps be like Sony and even try making a phone. Of course, that last part is obviously not going to happen!
I’m not sure what you do with your phone but I’ve had my 8x since close to its launch date and the backing still looks brand new. That’s not to say that I think Nokia’s aren’t nice phones. I just don’t get where all the HTC hate comes from on the WP8 side. If anything, I wish people would just buy more WP8 phones in general, as the apps are still seriously lacking.
