With you on the Google Drive front…. I have it, It starts up and slows down my Mac while does so and doesn’t really do much else.

I’m sure it will become essential at some point…. Maybe a full blown offline Google Docs app is coming?

Specs aside I have a beat up old Dell PC which I installed Windows 7 on with 2TB of storage.

I use Windows Media Centre with a plug in called my movies which is awesome sorts and catalogues all of your films and gets all the artwork and movie info for you.
