Actually I think that RIM should just sell off their patents (if they have any worth much) and close up shop. If this is the best that they can do, a refresh of a design that is at least 6 years old, then they might as well sell off what they can and leave the phone business to the guys with some imagination. Even businesses aren’t pushing BlackBerrys on their execs and managers anymore, now that Android and iPhone both can securely access business Outlook servers. RIM’s phones can’t even qualify as smartphones when compared to what is available from all the carriers.
