Well, it’s not the same company. They have different developers (aka the people that actually MAKE the games) and are published by the same company (the people who fund and market the game).

All of the world’s data in the palm of your hand almost wherever you go for less than a day’s worth of work each month, and it’s too expensive and the result of greed? Some perspective helps.
People tend to forget that the ability to watch cat videos whenever they want is still a luxury and not a birth-right. And technology reaching this point has only been around, like what, 7 years or so? Tech blogs are also the world’s largest gathering of the most unhappy, spoiled people.

Agreed. I don’t see how slapping a soccer mom with $20 million in fines for posting an album on Napster is a reasonable punishment. That’s what leads to the hate of the law when a record label/lawyers completely ruin the life of an individual over what is basically something like shoplifting a CD. A lot of murders get off easier than that.

This makes no sense. The rumor says they are announcing the next gen surfaces (meaning Surface Pros using Haswell) at Build 2013, which is at the end of June. How would they release them at the beginning of June before the announcement?

Of course the conclusion is the Internet is great and you can’t live without it. If he came back and said life with little to no Internet was great and people followed suit, who would be online to read the articles and click on those ads!
The Verge editors WANT you online checking their site 24/7.

I have an HTC One X+ (awesome phone, btw) but I don’t get the writing off of Windows Phone like it shouldn’t exist. It’s like “less competition will make everything better! Yeah!”
Of course, it’s a couple guys nit picking $500 high-end smartphones, being total tech blog snobs about awesome technology that fits in the palm of your hand. They are essentially bitching that consumers have so many great choices in front of them. Samsung is making billions of a very popular high-end phone and they are claiming they need to change their ways because they don’t like plastic or some ancillary thing that most people could care less about. By that same logic, I guess Apple must be in real trouble too. /s

Agreed on our rights. But innocent until proven guilty was established before video existed and eye witness accounts and “your word against mine” were the primary drivers of evidence. The guy is on video dropping the bag and sticking around to see how many people got hurt and died. Innocent until proven guilty and a trial are more of a formality at this point when clear video evidence and a digital trail is involved. So to keep up this “allegedly” moniker like some civil rights warrior in this case is a little much. Unless you are wearing a tin foil hat and think the FBI doctored a bunch of videos and pictures in 48 hours…
