Cnet story is bunk. Here is a quote from today from the same congressman that made the allegations the cnet story is based on.
“I am pleased that the administration has reiterated that, as I have always believed, the NSA cannot listen to the content of Americans’ phone calls without a specific warrant,”
I understand and agree with you except the version of glass being used is still in development so we are going to have to go through these same real world evaluation stories when it is released to the public. It’s just not that interesting to be honest as its quite similar to the smartphone experience but with less developed software. I do understand I’m in the minority here as stories about Glass are extremely popular with tech enthusiasts.
How many worthless articles on wearing google glass at events are going to be written here. It’s the same article each time. “I was the center of attention and here is a video I took.” Google Glass is cool but an article about going to two great sporting events wearing a screen over your eye isn’t really an interesting premise. Maybe this is the whole issue of Google Glass where the experience isn’t it about what you are experiencing in front of you but how people around you are experiencing you. You could have worn a thong and wrote the same piece I guess. It’s too bad because there was an interesting article to be written about where technology and sports intersect in the world of auto racing.
